These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CCXC Falcons Running Log (the "App"), a free, private training tool for the CCXC Falcons cross country team. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. The service
The App lets athletes record their runs and cross-training and lets the coaching staff view that information and communicate about training. It is provided free of charge for the team's use.
2. Eligibility & accounts
- The App is for CCXC Falcons team members. Athletes are typically minors and should use the App with their parent's or guardian's awareness.
- Accounts are created and approved through the coaching staff. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account.
- Provide accurate information (such as your name and team). The coaching administrator manages roles and approvals.
3. Acceptable use
- Log your own training honestly. Do not impersonate others or share your account.
- Be respectful in comments. Communication is visible to the coaching staff and may be reviewed.
- Do not misuse the App, attempt to access others' data, disrupt the service, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the training data and notes you enter. By using the App you allow the coaching staff to view and respond to your entries as part of coaching the team. How data is handled is described in our Privacy & Safety page.
5. Health disclaimer
The App is a training log, not medical advice. Effort ratings, mileage, and any feedback are for training organization only. Always train within your ability and follow guidance from your coaches and medical professionals. Use the App at your own risk.
6. Availability & changes
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We may update, change, or discontinue features (or the App itself) at any time, including during or between seasons.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the team, coaching staff, and operators of the App are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. The App is a free tool offered to support team training.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your profile, or by contacting the administrator. The coaching staff may remove an account that violates these Terms or is no longer a team member. Removing an account revokes access.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
